YTC 052-S24-2 Drawing: Faces, Ages 14-17

Gain an in-depth understanding of the fundamentals of drawing the face and head. Through exercises and projects, you’ll learn how to draw proportional facial features, add detail through value, and build up texture to create a portrait. All supplies are provided.

 

Week 3: July 1-2

8:30-3:00 

Tuition: $150

 

Drop Off/Pick Up: On the first day of camp, drop-off will be at 8:15 am in the front lobby located off 522 Congress Street. Students will check in with their teacher in the lobby and will walk to their classroom as a group. On all other camp days, students will arrive at 8:30 am and can walk to their classroom upon arrival. Pick-up will be at 3:00 pm on all days. Students will be picked up at the Free Street entrance at the back of the Porteous building. There is no need to find parking, students will be waiting for you at the door and will point you out to their teaching assistants (TAs) to be released.

Emergency Contact Information: To attend camp an emergency contact form must be submitted for your child. The information included on the form will be shared with our teachers and teaching assistants (TAs) to best support your child. If you have multiple children attending camp please fill out a different form for each child. You must submit the emergency contact form before June 10. Other Info: Lunch will take place in the MECA&D green space (weather permitting), a park on Casco Street near one of our dorm buildings. Students should bring a packed lunch, some snacks, and a water bottle from home. The temperature of the rooms can vary so make sure to bring a sweatshirt just in case!
