OSA 009-1-S24 | Salt: Reaching Your Audience! Online

Course Overview:

Now that you’ve worked hard to make a beautiful piece of audio, how do you get people to listen? In this course, we’ll learn about reaching an audience. How do you identify the target audience for your show? Where do those potential listeners hang out? We’ll study the key channels for promotion and marketing, and tips and tricks that can be easily employed without becoming a marketing expert.

We’ll focus on low-hanging fruit, like how to take advantage of existing audiences and channels to convert listeners. And, as a busy producer, how to best optimize time spent on growing your show.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this course you will

  • Better understand your target audience
  • Develop a solid strategy for promotion
  • Have a plan for drawing in listeners without dedicated marketing resources

Who is this course for?

This course is for audio producers of all levels whether you’re a beginner who is just starting to cultivate an audience or an experienced producer with an existing audience.
