Have you ever wanted to make a cartoon character walk, talk or dance? Come into our state-of-the-art computer lab and follow step-by-step lessons. Together we will look at the tools and strategies animators use to bring their drawings to life! This class will focus on 2D Digital Animation.

Matt Tanzi is an animator and high school educator working in Portland, ME. After earning his Master of Fine Arts degree from MECA&D in 2015, he dedicated his career to creative problem solving and how artwork can be a medium for storytelling. After spending years as a freelancer, Tanzi has pivoted his career towards education and his own studio practice. His current projects include graphic novels and video game design.
