Students will work each week from live clothed models using a variety of drawing media. We will work as a group to observe how artists throughout history have captured the human form, and develop our own styles as we draw from our models.Students will exercise their observational skills to fuel their ongoing exploration of proportions, form and contours of the human figure. After several weeks of focusing on proportion and form students will be introduced to abstract artists to help them develop their own creative voices.
