This immersive 5-day painting workshop invites students to develop a cohesive body of work while strengthening core visual skills. Working from a chosen theme—using either still life setups or photo reference—participants will build their ideas day by day through focused study of drawing, value, composition, color, and space. Each concept is introduced through demonstrations and applied directly to individual projects, allowing for both structure and creative freedom.

Learning Objectives:

  • Students will develop a cohesive body of observational and interpretive work by exploring a self-selected theme through drawing, value, composition, color theory, and spatial organization.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Students will complete 1–6 pieces that reflect a deeper understanding of their subject and a more confident, personal approach to painting.

Who is this class for?

Ideal for artists looking to push beyond isolated exercises and create work with continuity and intention.

Registration deadline: If enrollment is not met, students will be notified via email by December 14th.
