Stories with needle and thread. Inspired by the works of Amazwi Abesifazani, Bayeux Tapestry, and Anna Torma — in this class we will play with how to use stitching to tell a story.
Students will learn to use simple hand embroidery stitches to make words and pictures that tell a narrative. Embellishing with story line and materials is encouraged!
