Inspired by Louise Bourgeois’ ‘Ode a ́ l’ Oubli' and the work of other 'outsider' artists, students will get to play with fabric remnants and non-traditional materials using primarily hand-stitched line.
Participants will be shown how keep a stitched sketchbook, and to loosen up and explore mark making for creating texture, layering, shape and personal storytelling.
This is a Zoom based class.
Registrations for this class end on October 2nd at 10am.
