In this online class, students will learn how to turn simple sketches and doodles into more finalized pieces. Looking at different types of illustrations for reference and inspiration, we will explore the many possibilities for creating finished artwork based on your interests and what types of things you like to sketch for fun.
Each Wednesday students will receive an assignment (via email) to brainstorm ideas for, and start to work on at their own pace.
Then, each Saturday morning we’ll meet on Zoom to look at potential project ideas, discuss progress, and go over any questions. By the end of this 3-week class, students will have a clear understanding of how to turn their sketches into things like greeting cards, poster designs, illustrated recipes, and more!
This class is for ages 16 and up!
