Practice Plein Air painting a cityscape in this one day workshop! Class will be held in MECA&D's painting studio where students will look out of the large windows at the vibrant city scape. Learn how to sketch and paint the view utilizing principles of perspective. This class will mainly focus on the quicker style of plein air painting, using colors to create the illusion of space, and practicing perceptional painting skills

Faculty:

Jordan Wood earned her MFA at Maine College of Art & Design and her BFA at Eckerd College. Jordan is a painter who teaches in both the BFA program and Continuing + Professional Studies.

Supplies:

Your chosen medium (acrylics or oils), palette knives, palette, brushes, surfaces to paint on (canvasette or canvases), pencils or charcoal, erasers.
