In this 3-week workshop, participants will learn how to:\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\u003cspan\u003eSource and sort archival images, sounds and texts (Session 1)\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\u003cspan\u003eExplore artful cuts and layering techniques (Session 2)\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\u003cspan\u003eCompose short audio-visual poems with collected material (Session 3)\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe main objective of this workshop is to practice, but participants will learn by making work during class, and will leave with ideas for future projects. Beginners are encouraged to apply, but are expected to have access to DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro or similar software and have watched a tutorial prior to the first session.
