This class will use a smooth, white, porcelain-like clay, which yields the most brilliant results from our colorful collection of cone 6 glazes. Both wheel throwing and hand building techniques will be covered while we explore useful, functional forms, and the relationships between form, surface, color and pattern. A variety of decorative methods will be presented, including the use of slips, stains, wax resist, sgraffito, texture, and more! Come join the fun!
