Carlyn Gilbert is a sewer and a knitter. She has worked in the garment industry for 40 years in Boston, New York and spent the last 22 years in the technical design department at L. L. Bean in Freeport. Currently she is working part time at Z Fabrics. Nothing is more satisfying to Carlyn than digging into a new project with fabric or yarn or both!
