Working with a live model, students will create portraits while experimenting with an array of mixed media, including pastels, charcoal, oils, pencil, marker, and more. When making a portrait, students will be encouraged not only to reveal something of the psychological and emotional depth of the individual, but also something more archetypal - what it means to be human, to have a past, passions and a spirit.
Please note this class is located in our building at 380 Cumberland Street.
