This weekend workshop will cover the basics of Adobe Photoshop, as well as some of the tricks and techniques used by professional artists and illustrators. Students will learn how to manipulate and edit photographs while creating original art. This is a good introductory course for anyone new to Photoshop.
Bennett Morris is a multidisciplinary artist and teacher located in Portland. He has a BFA in Graphic Design, an MFA in Studio Art from MECA and has attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture's summer residency. In addition to his studies, Bennett has worked as a master printer, printing editions by a variety of contemporary artists. His own work is influenced by ideas related to the sublime, romanticism, ruins and surveillance technology.
