Course Description

In this class, we'll learn how to make some of the first flowers to bloom every year. Tulips and irises are two of the most elusive flowers to capture in paper. After closely investigating many cut flowers I've cracked it and I'll teach you how to make these flowers flawlessly.

Sarah Yakawonis is a paper artist living in Greene, Maine, where she explores this humble mediums potential with passion, obsession, and an eye for detail and innovation. After graduating from the Maine College of Art, Sarah became know for the obscure paper craft of quilling. Recently she has taken up paper flowers, exploring the botanical world, and reverse engineering flowers to make realistic paper flowers. You can find more at yakawonis.com
