Course Description

This workshop will combine digital and analog processes as they relate to the creation of tunnel books and or paper dioramas. Techniques will include simple printmaking, hand cut paper, book making, and laser cut paper. All levels welcome, but some level of digital knowledge is very helpful.

This class is specially designed for Art Educators and is offered at a discounted rate.

Bennett Morris is a multidisciplinary artist and teacher located in Portland. He has a BFA in Graphic Design, an MFA in Studio Art from MECA and has attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture's summer residency. In addition to his studies, Bennett has worked as a master printer, printing editions by a variety of contemporary artists. His own work is influenced by ideas related to the sublime, romanticism, ruins and surveillance technology.
